Incredibly easy? I think they mean, incredibly frustrating to understand because they don't explain anything adequately. I think they mean to write as little as possible so it SEEMS easy. I happened to lose my copy on an airplane, got a different EKG book, and LOVED it astronomically better. I hate to write bad reviews, but its just one opinion.

I haven’t actually read the book. But how dirty it is is enough for me to get it one star. Better to buy a new book than a ‘used’ one because it is more than a minor cosmetic issue.

As an ICU nurse, I deal with EKGs all day long, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was finding an easy, concise and accurate way to describe axis deviations, 12 leads and other more difficult concepts. This book is very easy to understand and gives great examples. It really helped me pass my CCRN.

It is a useful resource book to have. If you are not a quick learner this might not be enough though

Love this book. Bullet point information. Easy to navigate though. Great tips for differentiating rhythms. Goes over each rhythm, causes and treatment. Contains a table of the meds listing their purpose. Also contains algorithms for ACLS and for bradycardia. Great resource, highly recommend.

These books really helped me through nursing school. They break it down into easy to remember terms. The pictures and illustrations make me laugh and make learning fun. As a Cardiology nurse, I still carry this book with me and reference it!

I bought and used this book when I was in Nursing school and was glad I bought it. I had a hard time understanding EKG's and this really helped. It uses simple terms and photos and the small book is easy to carry around.

Tele nurse here. This is my favorite go-to pocket reference for tricky rhythms. The layout makes sense and it's very easy to find any rhythm you're looking for. Recommend as a quick reference, for sure!

Abdelmonam Kouka

Abdelmonam Kouka is a Tunisian computer engineer. He got his engineering diploma in computer science in 2007 from one of the best engineering schools in Tunisia (ENSI), After this he got a master's degree in Information Security from the same school (ENSI) in 2009 and a master's degree in free and open source software from ISI/UVT in 2011. Starting from 2012 and until writing this book, he was a student at master level in Innovation Management (DICAMP.eu project).

He is not only a nonstop student; in fact, after getting his engineering degree in 2007, and in parallel to his masters marathon, he started working as a software developer in HR Access, and then a Zimbra consultant in another company. After that he came back to development with Alcatel-Lucent as a Java/JEE developer to finish with Alcatel-Lucent as an IP/MPLS Expert. He left Alcatel-Lucent in December 2012 to launch in partnership with his friend Ayed Akrout, their own startup TAC-TIC (www.tac-tic.net), which provides ICT services such as software development, open source consulting, and IP/MPLS engineering and support.

Starting with his engineering study period and during all his professional experience, he was an open source activist, a member/co-founder of Ubuntu-tn community, Sabily community, and APOS association; he was also a member of Linux Arabic Community, Arabeyes, CULLT, DFSA, and a lot of other open source clubs and associations and initiatives.

More useless garbage that peddles nursing theory as if it has any value to people who actually practice actual nursing with actual patients. Dry and unengaging. Spends lots of text telling you about theories but really very little about how to go about actually promoting health on actual patients. This is just a classic example of the sort of thing academics do as an alternative to productive work.

this book is like reading instructions to cabinet making. Not interesting to read, but you know you have to know the content to make the cabinet. Very boring process and difficulty staying engaged in the material written.

I still use this health promotion book. This edition by Nola Pender is more detailed and in depth. Excellent.

In The Long Thaw, David Archer, one of the world's leading climatologists, predicts that if we continue to emit carbon dioxide we may eventually cancel the next ice age and raise the oceans by 50 meters. About the Author

Originally from Texas, Dorothy Morrison now lives the magical life in Maine with her family. Dorothy is a member of the Pagan Poet's Society and a charter member of M.A.G.I.C., a magical writer's and artist's organization. Dorothy is a Wiccan High Priestess of the Georgian Tradition, and has been an avid practitioner of the ancient arts for more than twenty years. She founded the Coven of the Crystal Garden in 1986, and spent many years teaching the Craft of Wicca to students both in the United States and in Australia.

A former state championship archer and bow hunter, Dorothy's current interests include Tarot work, magical herbalism, stonework, and computer networking.
